Both are really good deals, I don't think you'll go wrong with either one with those specs. If I were you for the little extra money I would get the 5.0, better brakes and Tora shock is beefier, plus for a few dollars you can add motion control dampening to it later and it will be a much better shock. Good Luck

Both are really good deals. I'd go with the 3.5, since you're just getting into it. The price is great, and the components are more than decent. Of course, if you have the extra $119, you're looking at some great upgrades from the 3.5 to the 5.0, for not a lot of dough.

btw where'd you find these deals at? I haven't seen a warrior 3.0 for under $399...

Performace bikes has both of them reg 999 and 899 sale price of 599 and 459, But right now they are also having 15% of sale items. The 3.5 is no longer on the web site but my local store has one and will honor the 15%

Thanks for you input

I am sure you will love it! Just some advice, the hanger derailleur is junk on the bike, get a good cnc alium one from ebay or pilo and keep the other as a spare. Will save you money in the long run.
