hey all...

i just found that my Trek Fuel EX 8's rear triangle has a huge crack in it.
i found a replacement that looks perfect but i dont know the year of MINE.

the replacement is listed as a 2008-2010 but the 2011+ dont look too awfully different.

mine does have the EVO links and ABP ( active brake pivoting )

thanks...im really bummed about this guy dying

so i found and replaced the seat stay on this...and on sunday (2 weeks after installing it) it has broken again.
same place...exactly the same place.
right above the weld on the rear caliper mount.
cost me a race i was prepping for for a while too as i noticed it while standing at the starting line.

hey Trek....um...wtf?

ANYthing i can do about this? i have both broken frames still too

Yes, 1). Find at least two more rear triangles (so you will have a back up when the first one fails) or 2). Buy a new frame.
