Hi,

I recently bought a new NS jump bike with DMR hubs but when riding the other day i noticed that the driver was really loose, once i got home i took it apart and found that the nut holding the driver in place had hardly any thread left on it (causing the driver to be loose). But my local bike shops don't sell them and I can find any on the internet because I have no clue what they're called? Any help would be really appreciated.

(I don't know if it helps but it is from a single speed cassette hub)

Thanks very Much

Ryan

By Driver do you mean the rear sprocket (cassette is the name of that) is that the nut that holds the cassette??
what does the nut in the pic hold a pic of where it goes may be better then a pic of the nut itself....

I suggest contacting DMR. If your LBS couldn't get it through QBP then it's probably something you'll need to contact DMR for. Plus, they have the added benefit of knowing their product and having a much better idea of what you need. I don't think this is going to be something you can just walk into a bike shop and pick up from the shelves.

Driver is a BMX term. It's the equivalent to a freehub body but it'll usually have a non-replaceable cog.

The nut you are referring to is called a lock nut. Any DMR dealer should be able to get you a spare, or barring that you could probably source something that will work from a BMX shop.
