I've got an 8 year old nephew who is an absolute bike fanatic that recently obtained his first geared mtb. it's a sweet little specialized (for AN 8 YR OLD) but it's got a piece of junk Suntour on it that feels like junk. I can and have moded and/or franken moded every forkunder the sun, but when it comes to garbage I tend to shy away cause my sister would hand me my ass were I to break it. Wish I could just slap on one of the SEVERAL Zokes, Foxes or even a psylo with travel adust would or this old SID worldcup i've got lying around on there, he's 8 and we're talking 20" wheels. The thing is he's want me to teach him to preload off shizz and this child size Suntour doesnt exactly lend itsel to the type of "preloading" at the deep end of the pool I engage in... Besides I know exactly JACK abut little kids and what their capable of.

Keep in my however this nephew of mine learned to ride when he was 2 (me 6) and soon as I turned my back putting the training wheels away, I turned around to find him trying to stand up on the seat. He's also been #1 in his divisio dirtbike racing since he was 5, and I have yet to see him loose a race even after a couple bad spills.

So, any advice as to what I could do with the fork or even something I culd purchase to fit a 20" wheel? Long as it's not outrageouse price wise... it's not like he's MY kid. ;)

Good to see you back here. I'm not aware of any decent fork in that size.
That's why I've been away. Cause you people are all useless. ;)

Spendy though.

Maybe find an old set of BMX Answer Proforx...except I don't think they had brake bosses.

Here's another useless reply: No idea!
Anyway, welcome back Blackagness! :)
Thanks Kovi!

I knew I could count on you. ;)

Hey Geo! Just how long was I away? They name this new (Rock Star) after the rock man himself? ...Rocks what ever would make someone decide to spend their life In "the ROCK" business anyway?

Either way not a bad idea for a fork. That's all you'll get outta me.
