There were no instructions so I'm lost. The bike boys at the LBS installed it, but now I don't know what I'm supposed to do about charging it or not before use. The control button glows green, but when I hook the battery up to the charger, the light on the charger shows red. Do I charge until the light on the charger shows green before use? It's hooked up to the charger right now and I'm nervous

Yes I would just leave it on charge until it turns green.

Light had turned green when I checked after a half hour or less. Everything seems to be working at this point
