got a buddy gettin ready to buy some tires and he's worried that 2.2's or 2.5 won't fit on the rims he has. he has a 05 stumpjumper with the stock wheels, which has a 26/2 on them right now, does it matter? any help greatly appreciated, it's got disc brakes so now worries about the v-brake clearance, we dont think it's a big deal and they will fit but we are ordering them online and he just wants to know for sure, thanks guys

they should fint on the rims. might be too big for the seat/chainstays or fork though. if they rim is really narrow, the tire may tend to roll when cornering.
