ok so i had the bike shop install new brake pads on my v-brakes. They are cheap brakes, i think they say promax. Anyway, after i get home, on the front brake, after i brake, one of the arms does not fully retract, so that pad drags on the rim. The only way to fix is to manually pull the arm away from the rim with my hands. I do not know much about brake adjustments, but i did look briefly at the park tools repair site,,, and the set screw on the side of the arm is already screwed all the way in.,, Is there another adjustment I can do to get rid of this annoying problem... like maybe does the spring need replaced????? I could take it back to the shop and have them readjust it,,, but was just wondering if this is an easy fix that I could do myself......i hope.
thanks,,
