New as well

Hello As you all can see by my posts I am a green newbie as well. I just started MTB last week at Aliso Woods and love it! I am a 33 year old school BMXer/Dirt jumper from back in the day. When I was on the trail it was so much fun, felt like a 14 year old kid again. I have a new GT Avalanche that seems pretty good for a newbie like myself. Although I think I am going to replace the front suspension. I am 230lbs and when I have the adjustments on the front suspension set up high I still bottom out the suspension. Sorry if I am talking like a green newb :p

Alison Woods is all above board. They have some great trails over there. Lots of loops and combinations of fun and climbing.

There are lots of other great places to go riding in the area. Have fun!
