Hi guys,

I recently bought a used Commencal Supreme DH that looks far from stock. I think it's a 2013 model but not sure.

It's running Sun 559x34 rims and I'm looking to replace the 26x2.35 Wicked Wills tyres with 26x2.40 would this work? No idea what my fork is but I believe it's a 2011-2013 RockShox World Cup model with mission control.

Any help would be welcome.

2.35" equates to 59.69mm and 2.4" is 60.96mm so providing your frame and fork clearance is enough to accommodate the extra width it will be fine.

Not all tyre widths measurements are accurate or standard between brands so be cautious if clearances are tight.

P.S. Not sure where the Masserati is relevant but keep an eye on the 'fly by wire' throttle system. The carbon tracks wear out causing unpredictable throttle responses and replacements are very expensive. 😉👍
