After looking through parts of the Heckler picture thread, I noticed that alot of Hecklers have dual crown forks. If the Heckler can (officially) handly 160mm forks why not 170mm forks? Do you lose your warranty if you 170mm travel fork on a heckler? Does it ruin the handling?

The Heckler can handle a 153mm triple crank fork which is the Maverick. I ran a 170 Junior T for a while and it made the handling poo. Yes, you'll void the warranty.

I have a 66 light on my med. Heckler. I don't care about the warranty. The Heckler's plenty strong. Climbing would be tough without the ETA.

The official word from SC is 160mm so that they could spec the Fox 36 in their build kit.
