Anything Mid Pen, my personal favorite was to climb Montebello road and descend Canyon when I lived over there, now it is sand based trails, Ord as already mentioned is perfection in times like these, the more rain the better. There may be some sand based trails in Scotts Valley too....

Be thankful if you aren't receiving literal inches of rain right now. It means you wont have to deal with flooding.

Far East Bay has received over 5” and closing in on 6”. Everywhere is off the table locally. Grab a saw and a small shovel and hike around doing maintenace to prove you actually believe the age old adage of “no dig no ride” not just wear it on a shirt…

Went for a quick 1 hour road ride (and some gravel) yesterday morning early in the storm. Biggest issue was making sure not to get blown off by the wind.
