I just picked up a cannondale F400 CAD2 frame. The ID of the head tube is just shy of 2". I do not have to headshok cups. I want to transfer all the components from my raleigh M80 to the cannondale frame. Does anyone know if i need the headshok cups in order to snap in the 1 1/8" reducer?

Any other opinions or comments are welcome.
