So I'm heading down to Galax (from PA) for a reunion this weekend. Of course I'm taking a bike and I plan on doing some casual New River Trail riding but I also want some fun single track. So I find this Mathews State Forest Trail on the reviews. Looks Great. Now the question: Do I need to buy this $16 state forest usage permit to ride this trail?:madmax: If so, that sucks, I mean I'll pay it and all but it seems a bit greedy of the state.
