Since I have been slowly knocking weight off my hardtail, I'm thinking about riding out at Hawes either this weekend or next week. Since I am off until the 5th, I wanted to check to see if anyone was available. DurtGurl, you thinking about any Mesa riding soon?

Peace!

I've got the same amount of time off too. Was going to hit up Hawes once or twice during my off time. Only bad day for me would be tomorrow. Post up a day and time and I would most likely join you.

Oh yeah. I'll be on my HT too

I'm planning on doing a Hawes/Pass loop on either Monday or Tuesday...

Don't do Pass on your HT...
Why not? I have never ridden Pass, just Hawes. I don't care about technical. Loose and rocky (a la Desert Classic), and I will not ride a hardtail!

It's not the tech on Pass that sucks for a HT; it's the loose rockiness, particularly on the S/SE side of the mountain, in and out of all those washes...rocky goat and baby-head HELL! I will NEVER ride Hawes on a HT as I just can't see how it would be fun at all, and I'm a SS HT glutton for punishment.
