Having trouble taking cogs off my X.9 derailleur

I think the allen wrench I have is a hair too small.. but I applied quite a bit of pressure, and it didn't budge....

anything I need to know....

If someone knows the correct size allen wrench I need that would be great.. So I can go pick one up.... I have every single other size but the one I need... as usual...

It is a new Sram X.9 by the way...

most der. are 5mm. you may have to stick it in there kind of deep. It spins counter clockwise to remove.

Kind of figured it would be reverse threaded, thanks for confirming it..

It is definatly not a 5mm though... it looks closer to a 2.5mm..

I think you guys are misunderstanding me.. I want to take the little cogs off the derailleur to throw some grease in them, not take the derailleur itself off.. that is 5mm, but the allen wrench to remove the cogs is much smaller... here is a picture
