I have a ibis mojo, in addtion to my rigid 29er SS. When I rode the mojo after a couple months of only riding the rigid SS, I was VERY surprised by the difference. But, after a couple rides, it feels normal again. Super rocky sections, etc... are of course much easier on the mojo, but climbing is where the difference shows up. Gears are nice for some extended climbs, and squish is great for some technical downhills. So, for me, I love both bikes. I tend to ride the SS on less technical/steep stuff, and use the mojo for the rest.
Odd -- I was thinking I'd never ride anything but the mojo, until I did SS. But, some places (like where you get air, etc...) are much more fun on the mojo, still. Most places, though, I'd just as soon do the SS. As I age, I figure some day I'll not ride the techy stuff as much, and maybe I'll be 100% on my rigid SS.
