just got redline monocog 3 weeks ago to add to my stable of bike.....

i have an 06 MKIII that I used to love, now i have no idea how to ride it....

is it more the lack of suspension? or the 29in wheels???

what makes my redline feel so much better than my MKIII???

and has anyone in here kept their 26in full suspenion bike once
the got a single speed??? i can think of a trail or time where i would
want to ride the FS anymore....

has this happened to anyone else?

I have a ibis mojo, in addtion to my rigid 29er SS. When I rode the mojo after a couple months of only riding the rigid SS, I was VERY surprised by the difference. But, after a couple rides, it feels normal again. Super rocky sections, etc... are of course much easier on the mojo, but climbing is where the difference shows up. Gears are nice for some extended climbs, and squish is great for some technical downhills. So, for me, I love both bikes. I tend to ride the SS on less technical/steep stuff, and use the mojo for the rest.

Odd -- I was thinking I'd never ride anything but the mojo, until I did SS. But, some places (like where you get air, etc...) are much more fun on the mojo, still. Most places, though, I'd just as soon do the SS. As I age, I figure some day I'll not ride the techy stuff as much, and maybe I'll be 100% on my rigid SS.

I have a lot of fun on my Flight. But I still have my Cannondale Rush. Love both bikes.

I recently got injuried from a hard crash. I'm still able to ride. And rolling the Rush sure is a treat. The 'cog is challenging and entertaining. The Rush is more comfortable and relaxing. Just depends on my mood.

Yes. Sell the FS, you don't need it anymore.
