ok, so prologue to the story. I have a food saver vaccuum sealing machine that I had to have replaced for warranty issues. So I have two of them now. The old one still works. I had a bright idea the other day to use it to help me lube my chain. After thoroughly cleaning and drying the chain, I placed it in a vaccuum bag with some lube. When it's sealed, all air is removed from the bag which makes the lube penetrate into each link. It worked great and I wasted less lube since it didn't all drip on the floor. I'm open to your thoughts. And here is a pic

Seems like a nice idea... iff you don't have to drop the coin on the vacuum sealer first. Very nice use of it though.
