Hi. I'm 195 lbs and need help with the damn rockshox bar adjust. I set it up to the factory recommendation in the manual and got no sag on it whatsoever. So I put it down to the factory minimum which is 100psi... still no sag. shoot I couldn't even get any travel out of it. My question is... is going below the recommended travel safe? Will it destroy my shock if I hit somethig big? please reply because I'm afraid to do so, and even with just 100psi, it's making my bike feel like a rigid, and it's taking a toll on my bum. thanks. oh and I know that that shock is a POS but I can't afford an upgrade right now.

i have a fisher 04 4+ also. my question is- is your shock moved to the 4. travel setting or is it still on the 2. setting? if it is then move it. also does you shock still have that little o- ring on it? if so the you will know your shock is moving. remember you don't want your bike to feel like a lincoln. just soft enoungh to tame the beast.

p.s. i would not go any lower on the psi.
