Went up to Hatchers this AM and Gold Mint is some nice riding for the first mile and a half or so, then it started getting soft and punchy. If you go, see if you can find all the marks from my face hitting the ground when the front wheel broke through and sent me arse over tea kettle.

Arch Angel Road was wonderful. Good base with a light dusting of snow to the first curve, then about an inch and a half to two inches of fresh pow up to the Reed Lakes trailhead. Just before the bridge, where the snowmachine trail meets up it started getting soft and the other side of the bridge was slow slogging up to the trailhead.

Beautiful morning for the riding.

Headed up there again this AM for an easter celebration ride and Archangel was great fun up to the outhouse and back down. Hit the snowmachine trail for much of the return trip down. Awesome fun. The kids enjoyed great crust conditions on their skis - though we got out too late for me to do to much on the crust with the bike. What a beautiful place to spend a few hours riding!
