I know fox changed a bunch of stuff from 2017 dhx2 to the 2018 dhx2. Has the dhx2 stayed the same since 2018 or is it worth paying more for a 19 or 20 dhx2?

Better seals, thats about all I know about any changes. The seals on some of the earlier 2018 DHX2's where pure crap and would blow out oil all over your bike & shock. They've since updated them but thats the only change I know otherwise I think its pretty much the same.

TBH there isnt really a lot they can change for the DHX2, the tune on that shock is pretty darned broad to cover most riders/bikes, Fox made it that way intentionally so they wouldn't have to do custom tunes.

Thanks thats exactly what I wanted to here, i can pay a little more and snag a 2019dhx2. I had the option of 2018 or 19

I have 2018 DHX2, no problems for the entire season, then service during winter and still riding no problems. Had 2017 before but it was squeaking, fox tried to fix it, then replaced it after fix was not good.
