Has anyone done a Rim Nordic Super D race?

I did one last year. But the course will change this year. They are taking out the switchbacks and have added a new section of downhill singletrack which is a blast. I rode the 12 hour race there this last weekend.

generally, what is the course like then?? i am racing this saturday. and probably the rest of the super d races this year.

The course starts on a shallow, steady fireroad climb across from the Lakeview turnout on 18. It then drops into singletrack that gets steeper and steeper. From then on the course is different every race. Times are 10-15 minutes and it is a mass start format, but by class. I planned on racing but someone planned a family reunion at Mammoth for next weekend...plus it's my birthday
