The Bailey HUNDO-a not-for-profit event-is a world-class 100-mile endurance mountain bike race that starts and ends in Bailey, Colorado that both serves to raise money and awareness for youth biking initiatives in Colorado, and supports the planning and building of new trails in the Platte Canyon area that develop Bailey into a Front Range mountain biking destination.

Endurance racing is getting so popular that a lot of races are going towards this unfortunately. The Laramie Enduro is also making you apply like leadville now.
All the good races seem to sell out in a few minutes now and it really stinks

Agreed, the sell out fever is a drag. However a "lottery" seems a bit more accessable than an "application". I am happy to roll the dice on Laramie, and have marked it on my calendar!

Agreed, part 2...some of the lycra team kits out there do look like constumes. :) More so on the roadies.
