Does anyone know who has the Monocog 29ers or GT Peace 9'r in stock? I'm looking for a real cheap SS 29er. Probably go with the Monocog 29er but would like to check out the GT also. Hard to believe the GT doesn't have tabs for disk brakes though.

The Mary and XXIX are an option but are pushing $700. So $230 more than the Monocog, do you think they are really worth it? If I put that $ into the 'Cog would I be better off? I don't know jack about components, but with a rigid SS, seems like they'd all be pretty damn similar...

Those GT's are completely sold out for 2007. The 2008's will have disc tabs, if you can wait a few months.

I think so man, the SS thing is suppose to whip you into shape right?...I still got it, I actually got it shifting good for once. I might make it out there. I hate to say I am then not show, but I might be there to bring up the rear.
