Building up a Haro extreme x3 but still waiting on the frame in the mail. Just want to know what size bb to go with? I just bought a Truvative fiveD with the following dimensions "68/73 X 113mm Power Spline BB (Spacer not included for 68 mm shell)" I gues what I'm asking or hopeing is that the 73x113mm works and I don't need any spacers. Any help or answers greatly appretiated. Thanks

The shell width is 68mm. So the bb you will need is as you described, but because Truvativ makes a "universal" fit bb, you will likely need a 2.5mm spacer under the right side cup and likely another 2.5mm spacer under the left side.

Whatever is required, you might want to verify the chainline which, according to Truvativ, should be 48.5mm.

Thanks haro bikes. Is pretty much all the sizing on this bike "standard"? I was hopeing so, I went with haro because I used to have a bmx a cpl yrs ago that got stolen and they are an awesome company with very high level of quality, and I am just hopeing I don't run into any size issues where I need a new part, because all the components I bought were standard sizing

BB shell width on VL120 is 73mm.

coop3422 - thanks! The other parts are standard in terms that they are common sizes.
Seat post - 30.9
Front derailleur - you'll need a Shimano 34.9 top pull type. It also has to be a "top swing" style that has the low clamp. Like this one.
And the headset is an internal cup / zero stack type heaset that you can get from WTB, FSA or Cane Creek.

My VL120 frame is on order. I must say, Haro has had freakishly good customer service so far. Thanks!
I agree, haro is great. This will be my second haro, waiting on the fram for my extreme x3. Used to have a Haro Revo freestyl/bmx bike but it got stolen from school 2 yrs ago:(
