hardtail trails?

They're all okay for a Hardtail.

I've been riding a Yeti ARC for 10 years on our trails, including Noble Canyon and Anderson Truck Trail.

It may be bumpy but it can all be done. Let's not forget that there were trails before bikes and hardtails before full suspension.......The notion that a trail is full suspension only is sort of ludicrous and usually uttered by somebody who never rode one and can't fathom how somebody could clean a trail without suspension.

I'm still trying to figure why I had to make the move to a FS rig...so much that I started to obtain parts for an aggressive HT build. I missed the excitement.

yes, they're called roads, streets, avenues. I'd stay away from boulevards, they can be especially bumpy and may not be hardtail approved.

OP: Your HT can go anywhere a FS bike can go. Noble Canyon would be a great place to start.

Because he has concerns about trails not being "smooth enough" for his hardtail, I don't think I'd recommend Noble right off the bat. Sure, Barney Rubble and Stairway to Hell can be ridden on a hardtail, but maybe it would be a good idea to recommend some trails that will build his skills and confidence before he tackles Noble.

Cuyamaca and Big Laguna Trail would probably be better first rides.

Judging from your rig, I'd say you're safe to make Noble your first ride.

No such thing........ trails is trails! You'll like it all on the SS Hardtail. There are LOADS of SS riders here in S.D. county that ride ALL the XC and AM trails. Enjoy!

im just saying I prefer or should i say my ankles prefer less bumpy trails if they are really fast

I ride Lake Hodges and Daley Ranch on a Rockhopper. Daley Ranch has lots of great trails and the meadow loop is smooth and flat.

you should try crest trail at daily ranch one of the funnest trails there

I know a guy that can ride better than most anyone (open-pro in DH, XC, CC, and road). He rides a singlespeed rigid bike over virtually any terrain.

Bottom line: anything is rideable on a hardtail - where there's a will, there's a way.

You will have a great ride anywhere in San Diego County. Noble is probably the rockiest we have and it's not that rough, just some longer rocky spots than other trails. Nice Banshee. Would be better if it were a Paradox (29er) though

just got here and rode the trails near lake hodges for 5 hours yesterday and damn they are fast and i must say i got my ass handed to me but screw the east coast this is waay sweeter

sorry to change the subject and all but where can exactly can i find this trail and who wants to shred it with me
