Alright, around a year or longer ago, the rear derailleur hanger broke on my Fuji.

It's a 2000 Fuji 1-Diamond. It's damn near impossible to find info on this bike, I assume it wasn't very popular. It's held up INCREDIBLY well over the years save for the snapping of the hanger.

I have a new bike on the way, a Motobecane hardtail, but the Fuji is a full suspension bike and a blast to ride. I'd really like to have the best of both worlds available to me, so if anyone can assist me in finding a replacement hanger, that'd be awesome.

I tried derailleurhanger.com with an e-mail, and am currently awaiting a response (hopefully). I tried the local bike shop I've always gone to, and they didn't have any luck. I contacted Fuji for help, and they couldn't tell me anything. That kind of makes me feel like I'm screwed...:(

Here's about the ONLY link I could find with info on the bike - if it helps:

https://www0.epinions.com/bike-Bicycles-All-46351-Fuji_1_Diamond__2000

And here's some pictures of the hanger area. If anyone can point me in the right direction, please do so. I hate to see the bike sitting there... I'd like to get it ride-able again, then maybe think about some upgrades once I get the new bike dialed in.

Derailleur hangers have model numbers but they're often not used. It's more common to find a match from a photo or comparing with the old hanger. Maybe somebody here with some shop experience knows where to get the right hanger for your bike.

I had to go to a few local stores before I found a hanger for my Fuji. One place wanted to bend back the existing one, no thanks. I ended up finding one at Performance Bicycle for $25. I keep the bent one as a backup.

Problem is I chucked the broken part of the hanger somewhere in the garage and now I can't find it to reference a part number.

I may try a few other shops, but I think the one I went to had the best chance of finding it.

Thanks for the input.

Well, if you do find a new hanger, the first upgrade you do shoudl be a new chain, and some degreaser. Your killing me.
Chain is fubar'd, already cut and ready to come off. It does need to be thoroughly cleaned all over. It was ridden hard and put up wet unfortunately. I know better now, though.
