Wow, that sounds bad.

Anyway, just wondering if there is anyone out ther kicking it with the SS rigid 26er?

Now I know that you will pay the man on rock gardens and the forever long hard DH, but on technical ST with flats, fire roads, hard climbs and fast sections--seems like it would be good to go. Especially over here on the East Coast.

Post some pics with some feedback--need some good bike porn with my beer!

It's janky, but it's fun. It does the trick until my new ride is finished, then it goes back to being the base of an Xtracycle.

There are PLENTY of people doing just that. I did for a couple of years and then moved on to a 29er, also full rigid. My only suggestion would be to get the fattest tires you can fit.

Here is my bike. Being an east coast rider I can definitely say that the bike performs great out here.
