Happy Thanksgiving ####ers

Very inappropriate but it was first thing to come to mind.

hint: begins with the letter f
Giving thanks for:

Rigid bike- for making local errands such a treat and long-distance rides possible

Hard tail- for getting me really started and for being a reliable, low-maintenance backup

FS- for enabling me to keep up and giving me extra courage to try harder stuff

My car- it may look craptastic but its engine is going strong, would never make it to half the rides I do without it

My family- they have yet to stage a bike intervention, although I'm convinced they've discussed it amongst themselves and are resisting the temptation

My roommate- the muddy bikes in the living room and the tire marks on the white doors must be eating her alive because she is an OCD neatfreak, yet she has never once complained in five years

Happy Thanksgiving, dot, dot, dot COM!

I'm thankful that my front wheel has never decided to come loose during a sketchy high-speed rock garden descent.

That there's always been a beer at the end of a ride.

And that there's no shortage of great people to ride with no matter where you are.

Gobble.
Thanks for working legs, rolling wheels, and the blue ridge.

And thanks for a woman that accepts my obsession, even if she dosn't get it.
Thanks for a few "old" trails that always present new challenges.
Thankful for........

Well..
I am thankful that I am NOT someplace I do not want to go to.
Some where, a few of our members have been to.
I am thankful that they returned safely and are still riding!
I am thankful for my family, particularly my "lovely and talanted" wife!
I am thankful for my photography and mountain biking, both have given me some great opportunities to meet and ride with some great people.
One that note, I will be doing just that this weekend! Riding at Bootleg Canyon with some of the GREAT mountain bikers from this GREAT community!
And then I will be doing it again next month, in Maui!

Ride On!
happy thanksgiving...

everyone.

I was thinking "motherf##kers" myself.

I hope I recover enough from this stomach flu to eat and bike this weekend.
Thank You

Happy Thanksgiving to All,

Upon your day of thanks, I pray each of you to have peace and be safe. And my apologies for missing the Canadian date...

Now, we must all realise we lead a blessed life; there are so many with so little about the world. And make the commitment to offer what we can to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the disenfranchised, the sick, and the opressed.

As my ancestors provided for ten years safe harbour in Holland to the Pilgrims as they fled opression and intolerance in England, let us now unite to offer peace. For despite our differences, we are all members of the family of humankind.

Blessed Be,

Julianna

Kinda hard to follow that.

Stay safe and enjoy the ride!
I am thankful for the (high-speed) internet. It connects to friends, events, shopping, and knowledge that were inaccessible a few years ago.
Happy Thanksgiving!
