MUM - you have a good one yourself! I am trying to cook a rib roast tonight for the first time ever. I should know in a couple of hours if it was any good.

Is Asheville still covered in snow?
MUM

Thanks for keeping Asheville weird.

Happy Holidays Everyone.
The rib roast was good! Makes me glad I'm not a vegetarian.
Happiest Christmas and may all of y'all ride lots in 2010!!!!!!!!!!!! Cause the rest of 2009 is gonna be sloppy.........there's a torent of water running down my street this morning and all the cool bike stuff I got will stay clean for now. :)
Are you talking to me????

???????????????? Are you gonna start sh!t with me at the end of the year????
I have met you a few times and from our few meetings I thought you were a nice-cool person,
Was I wrong??? You would not know me if I walked up to you in a parking lot at a trailhead,(we have met that way) so you must be speaking of one of the other moto's.......or do I need to re-introduce myself on our next meeting?

Wow this lack of riding has built up alot of anger. And Merry Christmas.

you don't really care what people on the inter-webz think about you, do you?
You would not know me if I walked up to you in a parking lot at a trailhead

Oh good grief - this was a Happy Christmas post. Even if you were "The Lifeless Moto", as an MTBr poster, you should know better than to get offended by me.

Sorry! Really.

:(

The concept of identifying the cyclists I've met on or off the trail
Meeting or bluegrass festival
Back yard BBQ or micro-brewery
Trail head parking lot or grocery store beer aisle
Even from Peoria or Sanford
And be able to remember forum nicknames vs real names?
Impossible.

There's folks I've known from this site for over ten years, so some nicknames have morphed into personal references. Example: In mixed company that includes parrots, I refer to Alloy Nipples as Mr. Nips.

I think his real name is Scott.... :aureola:

I feel it is wonderful to just be able to recognize bike people that can share that special smile and say "Hey There". The two fellas at Pappas today probably felt the same way.

We shared a "Hey There" moment and I heard this exchange: "What's her name?". She's the chick that rides the old Ventana.

Cool.
