Hi folks, running a Hans Dampf up front and need something with a bit more grip and better braking on the back than what I have already. Been considering a dhr 2 minion or a specialized purgatory.

Previous tyres were conti rubber queens, still running one on the back but honestly its got nothing left to grip. Don't want anything too draggy or heavy on the back though I realise pretty much anything I put on will be slower than the worn out rubber queen.

Terrain wise its mainly loose gravel/dirt over hard with roots and rocks or loamy and rooty so a "does a bit of everything" tyre would be great.

Any suggestions/thoughts on rear tyres ?I've looked at a fair amount of them but I can't make my mind up

Cheers!

Minions are square profiled and don't play well with round profiles like HD's. I would try something like Michelin's Wild Gripr 2.

Have FUN!
