we store our bikes in the garage by hanging them by their saddle on the cross beams. anybody ever have issues with their dropper post being affected by this?

I wouldnt worry if you have it all the way extended. If else you will probably suck in air in the system.

Never heard of any problems with this. I use a hoist in my garage and hang bikes from it by the saddle.

If has a hydraulic lock mechanism and fully extended: not a problem.
If it's a Bike Yoke Revive: not a problem.
If has a mechanical lock mechanism: not a problem.
Anything else: probably there is a problem.
