Handlebars on Element

I have RM Element 50 with 25 inch handlebars. I've been reading that a lot of people like wider bars. Has anyone tried wider bars on the Element and if so did you use a 20, 30 or 40 mm rise on the bars? Does anyone know what rise the current Elements have? Thanks for any help.

I'm running (26") 660mm x 19mm rise RF Next bars on my Vertex and ETSX, and that works great.
Easton Monkeylite XC @ 685mm, lo rise here. Perfect on my '05 Element 70 (+ only $75 from Jenson USA at the mo!)

I agree with the wide bar movement.
I am using a 670mm (26.5") flat bar with 9 degrees sweep on my Element.
Love it.

Element SE and 50 use the same bar, Easton EC70 Monkey Lite Low Rise 685mm
That damn Kabush challenge, I have a pile of 24" and 25" wide flat and riser bars sitting around that are of no use whatsoever now. I have been ruined and can't go back to a 24" or 25" wide bar. I did find the 660mm was just right on the Vertex and ETSX, the 685mm felt too wide, but on my Altitude that 685mm is the sweet spot.
Yep, I agree. That extra inch DOES make all the difference.
Thanks for all of your help. I ended up ordering an Easton EA70 midrise (30mm) at 685 mm wide. Now I just have to wait for the mail to bring them.
