It's a very good and reliable device, a better deal than a simiarly priced Garmin 830. Does not do TrailForks, which is a significant shortcoming and one they know then need to integrate and is taking a long time. You are correct that simiarly to a Wahoo, very road centric, as it uses Open Street Maps which are marginal at showing single track, better at gravel roads. It shows a road but no way to determine where pavement ends. RWGPS is doing this though and you can easily port a RWGPS map to a K2. I've used a K2 for 6 mos., It's terrific at road navigation, has a terrific screen and great TBT, better than a Garmim. Quirky with no BT for route downloading and completed ride uploads, which Garmin does and is easier to use. It relies on Wifi and can use a phone data card for remote operation (not as convenient as BT)
