I'm wondering if anyone has any input on this hub. Not a lot of choices out there for a 10mm bolt on hub and so far the Hadley is at the top of my list.
mine works perfectly fine (its acutally a 12mm one on my downhill bike). Chris king also makes funn bolts as well for their regular hubs. I think I9 also might have a 10mm bolt on wheel if you've got that kind of $
Thanks for the input. I have heard of some issues with the freehub mech. Hopefully they have been solved by now as I think this is the quickest engaging mech on the market.
Hadleys are my favorite hubs. Durability problems are with the 108pt model, as only one pawl engages at a time. I only run the 36pt models, all of which have been bulletproof (three pawls engaging simultaneously). Had a King hub before, and the Hadley 36pt engagement is "plenty fast" for low-speed technical riding, whereas the standard 18pt Shimano/Hugi engagement is not fast enough.
Got the 108pt with 10mm x 135mm spacing. Yummy. No problems either, but with that said, have only had them for about a month or so. Just be aware of the supply problem. It took me about 1.5-2 months to receive them. Hadley may also no longer produce the 108pt anymore...
