Hi guys. I ride both trails and roads, and wondered how the zaskar would be in this scenario.

I am looking at building up an older (pre-2000) frame or modifying a pre-2000 zaskar, vs. buying a new (2005 and up) zaskar.

And how is fitting a disk brake on the older models work, or is that even possible (sorry for the dumb noob question)?

Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

disc adaptor

im building a zaskar at the moment (post pics when its done) you can buy a disc brake adaptor called a2z disc brake adaptor, there are loads on ebay.hope this helps
i would go for an older frame but i couldnt find one i liked so bought a newish one of ebay.
