i just called terra sports. they do wednesday at 6:00pm

Sounds like something I'd try to attend. Maybe consider a night ride to get out of the recent heat wave? Did a midnight loop on Canfield last night that was a blast. 80 degrees at midnight...

Permanent closing manager at my store on mondays. Wouldn't work for me (unless people want to go after 11).

I've been riding Canfield on Monday and Tuesday nights after work, normally up there around 6:00 to 6:30, I'd be game to join the group if I can keep up.

The Vertical Earth group has been up there on Tuesdays but I cant keep up with those guys.

Yep. You drove past me between the upper and lower lot and were getting your gear out as I went through the upper lot. We've run into each other a few times up there, usually on A or 6, I have shaved off my goatee since I saw you last.

Ah, I thought you looked familiar. I haven't bumped into you on the trail in a while, I've been riding mostly east of the parking lot. What's your normal route (if you have one)?

On the Thread Topic: I'll be back up next Monday and Tuesday around 6:00ish. I'm probably a good guy to ride with, I'm old and kinda slow, you can take it easy and still look like a pro.

Okay, so tonight that pesky bull moose was on A trail just down from Penn Station. Had the helmet cam running, but it was about 8:20 and not much light. Kinda looks like footage of bigfoot. (Maybe the Zapruder film?)
After watching the video I shot tonight, I came to the conclusion I need to start my rides a little earlier. I see fine with lights but this CountourHD cam doesn't do so good in twilight.
Did my usual 1562 to A trail and up trail 6, then down trail 7 to A trail, down that to Cave and back to the lot.
No worky tomorrow so I'll try to make the 6 o'clock ride this time.

I came upon that (or another) bull moose last week on trail B just east of 9. I reached for my camera, which I must have flipped to video mode as I pull it from my pocket, and caught about 1 second of his butt going into the brush.

If work doesn’t hang me up I’ll be there about 6:00, look for the only idiot on the mountain beating himself to death on a 20 year old ridged.
