Started a bit warm, very humid (so your sweat doesn't evap. and you never seem to cool off) started to get a bit cloudy by about 10:30 or 11:00. By noon the showers started lightly at first and into major downpour after a little while (but it only lasts for about 10 minutes or so), we leap-frogged to cover when it was really coming down, but couldn't escape the mud after.

I rode yesterday morning, and just beat the thunderstorms. They started EARLY yesterday, around 0930. The trail was AMAZING though due to it being super moist and tacky, but not muddy. Just amazing trail conditions. Lots of humidity, but on the way back was mostly in the shade due to the T-storm.

About 6.5 miles one way for and out and back, but many options for additional miles in the area.
