Has anyone been to Green Mtn in the past day or so? It looks like I can sneak out this afternoon and am worried it will be a mudfest ... Thanks!

I'm not a gambler, but I'd place money that it'll be sloppy.

I'd stay away.
Sure - wake up early and do dawn patrol rides and watch the sunrise - from any trail and you'll be fine. At the same time you'll be preserving the trail. :)
Give it to at least this weekend, if you want to ride during the day. It still needs alot of melting. Early morning is the best right now, but it is little sketchy.

If it's anything like STM -- it'll be super muddy in the no snow areas and mushy snow in the other areas! I'd give it a few more days.....
Way muddy - don't even try it unless frozen
Green Mtn Conditions

- I passed on the ride due to the feedback ... not what I had hoped to hear ... but not a surprise! Oh well back to the trainer ... :-(
I rode it last night when everything was frozen. Most of the climb on the west side was dry, but there is still a lot snow. Apparently not everyone asks before riding because the south side is pretty torn up by tire tracks from people riding when it was muddy this weekend.

X2 went there last night, I came across a bunch of different terrian, but no way I would ride it during the day...too muddy, it was soft last night
Waiting for this damn snow to melt is like watching grass grow, ain't happenin. Patience, grasshopper.:)
Its definatly taken awhile, but I think this weekend looks promising, especially an early ride on wither Saturday or Sunday.

Rode there early morning. Saw a couple of other bikes. The trails where frozen and actually not that bad. Do not ride it during the day yet. It is not even close to ready. The horses completely ripped up the Rooney trail. Green mountain trail was much better with a couple of ice spots in the valleys.

I would recommend starting in the Rooney lot and go east on the Rooney Trail and completing the loop by taking the Green Mountain loop back to the lot.

You must leave before 7:30, by 9:30 it was getting soft.
