I'm not sure how many of you compete or participate, but I have to say that's it s encouraging to me to see so many races being listed and promoted for '22 already.

2020 was a wash, and a few returned for '21. Maybe we can hit the pre-pandemic volume of opportunities this year!

I'm optimistic and am actually signing up for things but also not getting my hopes up too much. The more people Omicron infects the more chances it has to mutate.

Fingers crossed it mutates in the right direction again.

Im racing the True Grit Epic this year (tried to last year but it got snowed out) and I am really contemplating adding on the gravel race. The only thing stopping me is that the gravel portion is Sunday, which means I would have to race 90 miles and then drive home 6 hours because I have to work Monday morning.

I need to find some events closer though. Definitely hoping that the races all pick back up this year.

I'm not a fan of the longer Sunday races either, unless I can get Monday off from work.

I'm in the Northeast and see lots of options listed already on BikeReg.

I am trying to decide between the NUE series and the ProXCT series this year, with NUE probably being the smarter choice. If so, I will be at True Grit and maybe add on the gravel if it is AFTER the MTB race. I can stay an extra day. I haven't taken a vacation day in about a year and a half, so I have some time banked.
