The Talon is a lightweight tire lever combo and a quick-link tool in one. If you think this new tool resembles Wolf Tooth's Pack Pliers, you're correct. Unlike the Wolf Tooth Pack Pliers, the Talon's two-piece body can be unclipped to use as a pair of tire levers and can be clipped together to form pair of quick-link pliers to install and remove quick-links on chains. The Talon is constructed from fiber-reinforced nylon levers with stainless-steel tips for the pliers. There's also room inside the levers to store a spare quick-link, so you're never left in a jam. The Talon works with 9- to 12-speed quick-links and chains.
Like many of Granite's tools, the Talon is designed to work with the Granite RockBand for easy storage. As a lightweight and no-hassle frame-strap, RockBand makes it easy to carry tools and inner tubes on your frame and lets you leave your backpack at home.
The Talon is available now. Visit https://www.granite-design.com for more information.
