This is also posted in the Norcal forum so excuse the double post.

I've spent the last couple days in the Sierra surrounded by snow. Sure, skiing and snowshoeing is fun, but it's the warmer weather and mountain biking that I really look forward to. In an attempt to avoid cabin fever I dug through some of my helmet cam footage and put together a short video. Sorry for not using any of the original sound. It was mostly just wind noise. (gotta' come up with better windscreens for the mics) I added some cool music instead.

To put you in the right mood, imagine this: Birds chirping, a light breeze and temp in the mid 70's. OK good, now have a look:

Granite Sept '08 from Rick O'Shay on Vimeo.

Pretty cool looking trail there. It reminds me of Dupont State Forest in NC.

That's a sweet looking trail. We wish had some of that granite around here. We got lots of mud here on the Oregon coast range, if you want some I be willing to trade.

Thanks-
Needed that, what a hit.

Passing perihelion here soon and on the way to granite, albeit in a bunch of months.
But it is coming around again, making the turn.

Reminds me so much of the area I ride "near" HITG, but nothing like the trail.
