Moab is getting too damn hot, so am heading over to the San Juan jMtns. Am planning on doing CT from Molas Pass to Junction Creek, and wondering if anyone has a GPS track they could provide. Suspect I'll be able to find my way ok, especially following in the wake of the CT Jamboree just for a little added route finding insurance.

Here's a link to .gpx files of the entire Colorado Trail:

Scroll down and choose the 10,000 point version, which you can edit and simplify to your liking, or choose the 500 point version, which is ready to load into a gps unit. Keep in mind that a 454 mile track simplified to 500 points won't have the same level of detail as the non-simplified track. Also, the Lattitude 40 map is an excellent resource as well.

That's a really long ride at exposed altitude! I see you're an endurance racer, so I'm sure your aware of that.

Let us know how it goes! A buddy and I are thinking about trying that ride in a few weeks and I'm wondering what conditions the trails are in (fallen trees, water crossings, mud, etc).
Will do. A friend did it last weekend and said the trail is in excellent condition.
