I rode a Muk with a BFL front and Larry rear today. For anyone who hasn't gotten to see the BFL I thought it looked pretty awesome in size comparison to the Larry. What also struck me was how much taller it seemed than the Larry. We had two bikes side by side one with the BFL front and one without and it raised the front noticeably in comparing the two bikes. I know the BFL is excess unless you are riding somewhere you need the float but it is awesome.

It sounds like BFL will give you taller gears if used on the rear. Maybe good on the flats, but maybe not so good climbing.
Well, that depends. If you run a little less pressure than you would with a Larry, and the BFL has more air volume too, then when you climb, the rear tire effective diameter might actually be shorter than the regular Larry.... :D
