I've only used Pinnacle 12 on my Win7 laptop... I'd give it a 5 our of ten... Keep looking, cuz Pinnacle Studio is definately NOT what you want to use...
GoPro HD and Windows 7
Anybody have a suggestion for video editing software in Windows 7? Windows Movie Maker is useless since it does not support MP4, and neither does Roxio 9. I have loads of gorgeous video, but much of it is boring and repetitive --I need an editor!

Hmmm...I just ordered Pinnacle from Woot today for only $49.99. What are its drawbacks?
Windows movie maker works fine on my windows 7 pc.
Odd. When I try to import my MP4 files, WMM tells me the format is unsupported. What's the secret, fux?

Hang on, I just checked my programs and its Windows live movie maker I used.
Its very basic but user friendly.
I also downloaded Soney Vegas but that didn`t recognise the files.
