I had a cycling specific gear bag that I got cheap from Performance a few years ago that had one ventilated end compartment for shoes, two other moderately small compartments, and a big compartment in the middle for helmets and clothes. It was just a little too long, but I really liked it. Unfortunately it was stolen a few days ago. I can't really find many cycling specifc bags out there with mesh pockets for shoes. Anyone have a particularly good one?

I guess I wasn't specific. I am talking about a duffel bag that you carry your stuff around in the car on the way to mountain bike. The only real thing that made my old one bike specific was a specific place for glasses, a mess side compartment for shoes, and a pull out mat to stand on for changing (never really used that).

specialized makes a couple pretty nice duffel bags that are similar to that bontrager posted above. a smaller and a bigger one, shoe pocket and iirc a helmet pocket.
+1 for the Specialized bag. I have a 10-12 year old version of this bag, still going strong. Incredibly tough and holds all my stuff with ease.

My wife has a slightly smaller Fox bag that works great for her, but I don't think they make it anymore. This Sette bag is cheap but might suffice.
