Goldilocks Tire Casing

In the market for some new tires - normally run Goodyear Newtons (EN Premium casing) with Panzer evo insert. That combo seems to offer just the right support without being crazy heavy. With the market like it is, can't get any Goodyears, so have to take a punt with an online purchase. Have previously had EXO+ with insert and found they were too squirmy, but the Kenda Hellkat with AEC were decent. Running 30mm id rims.

Looking for assistance on the WTB Light, Schwalbe Super Trail or Specialised Grid Trail to see if they might offer similar levels of support - I really hate the squirm and don't want to run 1300g tires.
