The park is really taking shape. Other committments Saturday, but hope that you guys get a solid crew. The flow trail pictures in your other thread make it look spectacular!:thumbsup:

FYI, we had our first official walk-thru w/ the city yesterday and they are pleased w/ the progress. :thumbsup:

since forecast is looking a bit, um, warm, i suspect we'll call it a day after lunch before the weeds spontaneously combust.

I'm going to try and come out if I'm feeling better. Just got back from Cleveland Wednesday evening and have been having some kind of stomach bug for the last 2 days. I've been working through it, but I have a desk job. Hopefully I'll feel well enough to come out and help. It'll be great once this is completed and I would love to say that I had some hand in helping it come to fruition.

If I do come out, do you need me to bring anything? Bottled water, orange smiles, etc?

Is it to late to volunteer to help build? I would like to help throw some dirt around.

sure, whatever you feel like... bagels or coffee maybe (i don't drink the stuff). no obligation, though, we're all volunteers. COMBA will supply pizza and drinks for lunch.

Yeah, glad I got to meet you guys. It was pretty brutal in that heat, but I'm happy I got a chance to put some work in over there. Jason, I'm not really sure where the bike lock might be. I'm pretty sure I left it on one of those concrete berms down where we had the pizza. I'm not really sure though. I can just buy another one, but it sucks that I just bought that lock 2 weeks ago. It's all money right? If you do happen to see it, let me know. Thanks.

Thanks all for helping. The trail work was great despite the heat. It registered 101 there nearby. I'm headed to the park this evening to check on a few things and work on some storm water stuff, I'll see if I can find the bike lock... Do I need to know a combo?

Nah, if it's there at all, it's probably just sitting on the ground at the bottom somewhere. It's not a big deal, it's not a super expensive lock. I just use it to lock my bike up in the parking garage at work. I'm going to pick up another one tonight, but it would still be nice to find that one too. I seem to be really bad with bike locks. The last one I bought I lost the keys for when I moved, and this recent one I just bought. I suppose it's better than losing a bike. Thanks for looking though. You'll probably never find it.
