should i get one of those gusset conversions or use spacers and if i get a gusset what would be the best gear ratio to kinda feel like a (16/44) i have three sprokets 38t 36t 34t the gusset comes with a 16 and a 18......................also i have vert. dropouts so should i get a singulator also?

First priority is a singleator, even if one combo worked the others would not and then chain wear will affect fit.
Gusset might work for you, at least you can use the cogs.
