Ok, this is probably weird, but when I ride long distances, my nuts go numb. I wear the chamois lined pants and everything, and try different positions on the seat. Is this normal?

yes it's normal but it's not good. It can lead to infertility and other worse problems. The pressure of the seat is cutting off the circulation. Make sure your seat is level. There are seats available with a soft spot of cut out in the center to keep it from pressing on the vein that supplies blood to your nuts. I had this problem on and off. I have switched to a WTB saddle with a groove down the center made to relieve the pressure and the problem has gone away. So I'd try a different seat until you find one that works for you. Specialized and most manufactures also makes similar seats
