I rode all of these trails for the first time last year in late July I believe (could have been August?) and was wondering if they are clear or if anyone has ridden them yet? Not sure how things are looking up on Mt. Hood right now. Thank you for any input.

Confirmed. Rode the Still Creek Loop to the Campground and bombed down the other side. Conditions are excellent.

Hell yeah, I hate it when people say shuttle it. It only takes me 2 hours from still creek, great warm up on the road.

Best rides near Govvy

I have been such a loyal 44 Road trail rider and have not rode much near Hood. I've only ridden the Crosstown trail, which was short and fun. What does everyone else like? Any good 10-15 mile suggestions?

Thanks

If you don't mind climbing, I would start where Pioneer bridal crosses to the northside of 26 (don't remember the exact location) and ride up to where Crosstown and Glade intersect and then back. This is about 12 miles for the out and back.

I second avam's post. It makes for a pretty nice ride and the ride down is a lot of fun. Glade is a bit steep but it's a hell of a work out. The trail entrance someone was talking about is right past Fire Road 39 if I am not mistaken? If you round the corner (by round the corner I mean start making the gradual right turn as you go up 26) and start to pass "Silent Rock" you have gone to far. As you are coming up 26 the parking area is on the left hand side of the road and there is a Pioneer Bridal trail head sign (it was still there when I passed the area going up snowboarding this winter at least). Have fun and enjoy!
